Work WithDr. Robert Bleck

You're Ready for Work That Goes All the Way.

You've built real self-awareness. You've done therapy, read the books, and made genuine progress. And something still isn't resolving. Source Completion Therapy is built for exactly this moment: when you're ready to stop managing the symptoms and start finishing what was left undone.

Dr. Bleck has spent decades helping people trace what's happening in their lives today back to where it actually started. When the source is found and the emotional process is completed, the patterns that once felt permanent begin to change.

Services

Dr. Bleck's Source Completion Therapy is available in four formats, each designed to meet you where the work needs to happen.

Individual

One-on-one sessions focused on personal growth and healing through Source Completion Therapy. This is the core of the work: a direct, guided process for identifying the source of your emotional pain, completing what was left unfinished, and releasing the patterns that have been shaping your life. Individual sessions move at your pace and go as deep as you are ready to go. Most people who come to Dr. Bleck one-on-one have already developed significant self-awareness and are ready to take the work further than they've been able to go before.

Discuss Individual Therapy

Couples

Relationship counseling to improve communication, intimacy, and resolve deep-seated conflicts. Much of what surfaces between partners has its roots in older, individual wounds. When two people each carry unresolved pain from their past, the relationship becomes the place where those feelings get expressed. Couples work with Dr. Bleck addresses both the dynamic between partners and the individual sources feeding it. The goal is a relationship built on present-moment connection rather than reactions carried in from somewhere else.

Family

Sessions that address family dynamics and improve relationships between all family members. Emotional pain moves through families in patterns. The same unresolved wounds tend to express themselves across generations, in the relationships between parents and children, between siblings, and in the invisible rules that govern how a family operates. Family sessions with Dr. Bleck help members identify where those patterns originated and begin the process of completing them together, so that what gets passed forward is clarity rather than pain.

Group

Therapeutic groups that provide support and shared healing in a safe community setting. There is something particular that happens when people doing this work are in the room together. Hearing someone else trace their pain back to its source, and watching what changes when they do, is its own form of healing. Group sessions offer the principles of Source Completion Therapy within a supported community of people committed to the same process. For many, the group experience accelerates and deepens the individual work in ways that one-on-one sessions alone cannot.

Source Completion Therapy

What Is Source Completion Therapy? The method built around one question: Who Hurt You?Feelings that are never processed do not disappear. They stay beneath the surface and find another way to express themselves - through anxiety, addiction, rage, panic attacks, compulsive behaviors, or relationship patterns that repeat regardless of how much insight you've developed. These are diversions: the mind's way of managing emotional pain that was never fully released.

Source Completion Therapy is the structured process Dr. Bleck developed over decades of clinical practice to address the root of that pain rather than its symptoms. It begins with a single, direct question and follows that answer all the way back to the original source. From there, the work moves through three phases designed to complete what the original injury left unfinished.

Phase 1 - Awareness

Before anything can be resolved, it has to be located. In this phase, you identify the source of the emotional pain driving present-day behavior. The work here involves tracing your current reactions, patterns, and symptoms back to their origin through body awareness and dream interpretation, two tools for surfacing what the mind has kept just out of reach.

Phase 2 - Release

Once the source has been identified, the work moves into reliving. Using visualization and self-hypnosis, you return to the original experience in a safe and guided way. The goal is to bring the feelings that were suppressed fully to the surface. Completing what was left unfinished requires feeling what was stored. This is the step that makes everything else possible.

Phase 3 - Completion

The emotional process that was interrupted when the injury occurred is now finished. The feelings that have been stored, the pain, the terror, the humiliation, the grief, are given back to the source where they belong. The patterns that were driven by that unresolved pain begin to dissolve. You stop reacting to the past and begin responding to the life in front of you.

FAQS

Questions About Working With Dr. Bleck

Sessions are typically 50 minutes. The pace and frequency of the work are determined in an initial consultation based on where you are and what you're working through.
A formal diagnosis is not a prerequisite. Many people who come to Dr. Bleck carry a general sense that something from their past is still influencing their present, without being able to name it precisely. The process of Source Completion Therapy is designed to help surface that source. You do not need to arrive with the answer. You need to arrive willing to find it.
Many people who work with Dr. Bleck have had meaningful therapeutic experiences prior to coming to him. What they often describe is a sense that the work went somewhere, but not all the way. Source Completion Therapy is specifically designed to address the emotional residue that awareness and coping strategies alone do not reach. The goal is completion, specifically finishing the emotional process that the original injury interrupted.
The process asks you to go back to experiences that were painful and feel what was stored there. That requires courage and a genuine willingness to look directly at the source of the pain. Dr. Bleck has done this work himself. He does not ask anything of his clients that he has not asked of himself. The process is guided, paced, and structured to support you through it.
The depth of repression, the nature of the original injury, and each person's individual capacity all shape the pace of the work. Meaningful progress is possible within a focused course of sessions, and some people continue working with Dr. Bleck over a longer period as the layers of the work deepen. The honest answer is that this depends on the person and the source.
Give Back the Pain makes the core principles of Source Completion Therapy accessible to anyone ready to begin the process independently. For many people it is a powerful and sufficient starting point. For others, the personal work of going back to the source benefits from direct guidance. The book and the clinical work are complementary.
